01Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and service credits are handled by Deep Afternoon. Because our services are customized educational engagements, refund eligibility depends on the type of service, project stage, work already completed, and the written service agreement.
02Project-Based Services
For project-based services, a deposit may be required before work begins. Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits become non-refundable once discovery, research, planning, mapping, writing, structuring, or development work has started.
- If cancellation occurs before any work begins, a partial or full refund may be considered.
- If work has started, fees for completed work, reserved production time, and prepared materials are not refundable.
- If draft or final materials have been delivered, no refund is generally available for that completed stage.
03Workshops and Sessions
Reflective Learning Workshops and guided digital sessions require preparation, facilitation planning, and reserved calendar availability. Refunds for these services depend on cancellation timing.
- Cancellations made at least 7 calendar days before a scheduled session may be eligible for rescheduling or partial credit.
- Cancellations made less than 7 calendar days before a scheduled session may not be refundable.
- No-shows, late arrivals, or failure to attend a scheduled session are not eligible for refund.
04Digital Materials
Once digital study resources, downloadable worksheets, custom learning documents, reference guides, archives, or finalized educational materials have been delivered or made accessible, related fees are non-refundable.
05Retainer Services
Retainer services are billed for reserved availability, ongoing educational content support, advisory attention, and scheduled development capacity. Monthly retainer payments are not refundable once the billing period has started.
06Cancellation Process
Refund or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and should include the client name, service name, project or invoice reference, reason for the request, and any relevant supporting information.
We aim to review refund requests within 5 business days.
